I purchase this same model for $ 10.00, VBF-ACHLA- Well it looked great couldn't wait to fill it and let the birds enjoy. Soon the real
quality control came through. Remember when it is made in China,Cheap is the goal.
First the top shaft is only pressed in,not welded,when you pull the
Pineapple cap off and look down the pin shaft is welded to a nut. Looked okay however when my squirrels pull and twist,the shaft came lose,as a result lost feed.
The pin shaft is not locked in,nut head to too small,should be locked.
Had to drill out nut and install a threaded shaft,locked inside and out.
Listen to this,look at the leaves,there is nothing to lock the leaves in
place.
From junk you get junk. In the end my retro-fit repair is solid.
